Upon arrival in Hanoi, be met by our car driver and be transferred to the hotel for check-in. before join Hanoi half day city tour.
Explore the charming city of Hanoi, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’, with its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. Visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.  Continue to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, offering broad insights into the people of Vietnam, including its 54 ethnic groups, through the lens of women’s topics. Walk through diverse exhibitions showcasing everything from street vendors and marriage to family life and traditional fashion. Drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the photogenic Old Quarter where each street is named after the goods originally sold there, from silk to silver.  Explore the fascinating maze of back streets, fronted by narrow houses known as “tunnel” or “tube houses”, built to avoid taxes based on the width of their frontage onto the street, a wonderfully eclectic glimpse into Hanoi street life. Enjoy a dinner before transfer to train station to leave Hanoi for Lao Cai

Rise early to observe the bustling morning activities in a traditional village. After breakfast, start your downhill trek into a stunningly beautiful valley dotted with bamboo houses belonging to the Tay tribe in Nam Sai Village. The largest minority in Vietnam, the Tay live in wooden stilt houses with tile or palm leaf roofs. Notice their style of dress, where both men and women wear clothes made of hand-woven cotton, dyed with indigo with little embellishment compared to some of the other minorities. Cross the river and walk uphill to one of the four Xa Pho villages, one of the smallest ethnic groups in Vietnam, where you may visit the local school (closed on weekends) and stop for lunch. Continue along the mountainside, passing two other Xa Pho villages before arriving at My Son Village. Stay overnight in a local home. Enjoy the warm hospitality of the Xa Pho people along with dinner cooked over an open fire.
