The event welcomed more than 20 participants from various departments, including sales, operations, and product teams, especially tour guides and drivers\u2014the front-line team members who connect directly with customers and deliver services. Key topics covered included respectful interactions with tourists and locals, respecting local culture and products, protecting children from labor exploitation and abuse, and wildlife conservation. Notably, drivers were guided on fuel-saving techniques and reducing emissions to minimize environmental impact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ms. Pham Huong, Head of Tour Operations and <a href=\"https:\/\/luxtraveldmc.com\/blog\/lux-travel-encourages-refillable-water.html\">Travelife Sustainability<\/a> Coordinator at Lux Travel DMC, stated that training guides and drivers not only enhances their knowledge but also fosters a deeper understanding of the positive impact of sustainable tourism. According to her, guides and drivers play a pivotal role in communicating messages of environmental and cultural protection to travelers. To support the goal of \u201cPlastic Waste-Free Tourism\u201d by 2025, Lux Travel DMC provided reusable water bottles for use at water refill stations and fabric bags to all participating staff. These include donating 25 water tanks to communities in Dong Van Stone Plateau, cleanup efforts to keep Ha Long Bay pristine, and an upcoming campaign to plant 2,000 trees in Yen Bai this November.
