LuxGroup Foundation, the charity fund of LuxGroup, has successfully completed the \u201cLighting Up the Stone Plateau\u201d program. This initiative brought 30 solar-powered lights to L\u1ee7ng S\u00ednh village, located in Ph\u1ed1 B\u1ea3ng commune, Tuy\u00ean Quang province (formerly H\u00e0 Giang).<\/p>\n

With the support of various benefactors, LuxGroup Foundation achieved its goal of installing 30 solar lights. The project not only illuminated the treacherous, rocky roads but also brought happiness to the local people with a warm Mid-Autumn Festival – the first of its kind in the village and heartfelt gifts for the community.<\/p>\n

This charitable program is part of LuxGroup Foundation\u2019s ongoing commitment to sustainable activities, focusing on underserved areas, particularly in the northern border region. Situated deep within the \u0110\u1ed3ng V\u0103n Karst Plateau Geopark, L\u1ee7ng S\u00ednh is remote and isolated from other villages, making it a prime example of a community facing significant infrastructure challenges. Its rugged, uneven roads become extremely dangerous after dark, seriously impacting the daily lives and safety of residents. Out of the 68 households in the village, 56 are classified as poor or near-poor.<\/p>\n

With the goal of providing a sustainable lighting solution, LuxGroup Foundation launched this project in close collaboration with local authorities. The volunteer team included members from LuxGroup, H\u00e0 Giang Tr\u1ebb – a reputable volunteer organization dedicated to youth and community development in H\u00e0 Giang, along with local officials and villagers. Together, they overcame challenges to install the lights along the main road and at the L\u1ee7ng S\u00ednh school, which serves both kindergarten and elementary students.<\/p>\n

When the lights came on, LuxGroup Foundation seized the moment to host a cozy Mid-Autumn Festival celebration right at the school. This marked the first time the people of L\u1ee7ng S\u00ednh had ever experienced such an event. Under the bright new lights, nearly 100 children and their families enjoyed a perfect full-moon festival. Lanterns, star-shaped lights, and masks were given to the children, and their laughter and songs created unforgettable memories.<\/p>\n

In addition to installing lights and hosting the festival, the volunteer team took the time to learn about the villagers\u2019 lives. Upon identifying several families in particularly difficult circumstances, LuxGroup prepared special gifts, including cash, essential supplies like rice and blankets, and school supplies to support the children and ease the burden on their families.<\/p>\n
