Vientiane Night Market is located along the waterfront in the city, visitors usually come here to buy items like clothes, textiles, accessories, handicrafts, paintings and myriad souvenirs.

Apart from that, the market is actually an ideal place for travelers to enjoy a wide range of street food, discover unique traditional Laotian snacks while chatting with local people. Vendors begin to set up their stalls around sunset and the busiest time is around 8 pm, so take your time then head there early to avoid the crowd.
