On 1st August 2023, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee coordinated with Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, SMC Hue Co., Ltd, Phu Bai International Airport; Tourism Association and related entities welcomed the first direct flight connecting Hue and Seoul (Korea). This is the first flight departing from Incheon International Airport (Korea) to Phu Bai International Airport (Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam).
