Tour Plan

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Upon arriving in Hanoi, you will meet up with your tour guide and transit to your hotel by our private car. After having done the check-in, you will have a free afternoon to relax and recharge yourself. You will then have a welcome dinner at a Hanoi restaurant before enjoying the Water Puppet Performance to get a closer approach to the local culture. Afterward, go back to your hotel for an overnight stay there.

Hanoi is a historically and culturally rich city with a harmonizing blend of Asian and Western cultures. That integration is well demonstrated via the inordinate number of ancient temples and pagodas nestling quietly next to French-style buildings.

A full day city tour will allow you to visit the outstanding attractions in Hanoi, including the complex of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake. The tour will also take you to the ancient temples and pagodas, namely the One Pillar Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple, and Quan Thanh Temple. A museum, either the Ethnology Museum or the History Museum, will also be included in the tour itinerary. Before being back to the hotel for an overnight stay, visitors will wander around the Old Quarter, where you can feel the nostalgia of the city as well as sample Cha Ca La Vong (braised fish) - the unique delicacy of Hanoians.
 


After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Got Ferry Terminal, Cat Hai Town in Hai Phong City to embark on Heritage Cruises. After enjoying the welcoming drinks and receiving the safety instruction and cruise briefing, you will have lunch at L'Indochine Restaurant. Your discovery will start in Da Chong Islet where you can see 100-year-old light house built by the French.

Then after lunch, you will cruise to Giac Luan Lagoon to admire many limestone karsts and islet jutting out from the water, and discover the quiet, beautiful Ba Trai Dao Beach which lies between Halong Bay and Cat Ba Archipelago. Thanks to the spetacular caves, the pristine beach, the shallow water, and the lush mountains with plentiful plants and colorful wildflowers, Ba Trai Dao Beach is the perfect spot for going kayaking, swimming and sightseeing. Head back to the cruise, admire the gorgeous sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin with a cocktail on hand.

There are many options for you such as joining thetea ceremony or wine tasting, enjoying massage, or taking part in a Vietnamese traditional cookery class. When the night falls, it's time for a memorable dining experience at the restaurant featuring local delicacies in an intimate setting. After that, relax at the top-deck bar, try your hand at squid fishing or watch a movie in the restaurant. The bars are open late.

Wake up early to admire the beauty of very first sunlight sparking on the bay. Before enjoying the breakfast with coffee, tea and pastries, you will try the vovinam sessions on the sun deck. Today you will visit Viet Hai Village - the small, peacful village lies in the midst of jungles, surrounded by high mountains range of Cat Ba National Park. Here, you will take a bicycle ride through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a rice-field vista, vsit a traditional house in a village deep in a national park where you can discover the daily life of locals and enjoy special cuisine in the village. Then, you will come back to the speedboat to visit Bai Tu Long Bay where you can go bamboo boating, kayaking or swimming at Ba Ham Lake, enclosed by vertical cliffs. Featuring the same landscape with Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long boasts more crystal water and less crowded. After a long but awesome discovery, you will head back to Heritage Cruise to relax on deck or join a cooking classs.

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and birds welcoming the new day. After the vovinam session following by the light breakfast, you will take the bamboo boats to explore the Dark Cave and Bright Cave. After that, return the ship to checkout. Enjoy brunch while cruising back to harbour and then, departure to Hanoi

In the morning, you will be free till the transfer to the airport to fly to Hue. Upon arrival at Phu Bai Airport, our guide will welcome and transfer you directly to the hotel. The Hue City tour in the afternoon after free lunch time will take you to visit some of the most famous Hue landmarks including Hue Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba market in which you can explore the cake heaven of Hue. In the evening, you will enjoy Hue unique cuisine at Tinh Gia Vien restaurant, and then stay overnight in Hue.

Today, from Hue, you will drive over the majestic Hai Van Pass to reach My Son Holy Land - the ruins of Cham Culture. This site was once the capital of the ancient Champa Kingdom in Middle Vietnam between the 2nd to the 13th century. Cham Culture originated from Hinduism and My Son is the largest complex in Vietnam that demonstrates its unique architecture. My Son was designated as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1999. If you are keen on learning about Champ civilizations and architecture, you should never miss visiting this place.
After the trip, you will transit to Hoi An to check in your hotel and have free and easy time here. Overnight in Hoi An.
 

You will spend one day discovering Cua Dai Beach where you will learn more about the traditional fishing techniques to paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats, learning about BẢ TRẠO cultutal folk musics of local fishermen life at Cua Dai fishing village while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways napalm coconut of a past war. It's also a chance for you to watch the Thung Chai Basket Boat Dancing on the Water Way.

Our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel right after your upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. Then you will have dinner at a local reataurant.
A night in Ho Chi Minh city is ideal.

The itinerary will cover some of Ho Chi Minh city's most popular attractions and French colonial architecture examples such as Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral or the Old Post Office and Vietnam’s turbulent at the Museum.

  • Reunification Palace is the first spot - it's the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam and marks the end of the American War in Vietnam on April 30th 1975.
  • Then we spend time in Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral since 1880, and the Old Post Office since between 1886 and 1891.
  • Finally, you will be taken to a local market to try bargaining skills while shopping to get closer to Vietnamese local life and culture.

Back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

This morning you take a drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to HCM

Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. The temple’s exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of Buddhist symbols. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.

The trip to Tay Ninh is combined with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. With our local guide, you will be able to:

Your full day will include interesting destinations: the wondrous ancient ruins - colossal human faces carved in stone in the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the mysterious Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Leper King. And the most outstanding spot is the world cultural heritage - Angkor Wat covering an area of about 210 hectares since the 12th Century. Strolling around to admire many galleries, with ornate columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds reflecting the towering temple will be exciting as well. Then, you will walk up Phnom Bakheng Hill to enjoy the spectacular sunset overlooking sandstone monuments.

Stay overnight at the hotel in REP.

The first spot today is Banteay Srei Temple (since 10th century), the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Then, it's time for Banteay Samre (since the late 12th century). 

You will be served lunch at a local restaurant. 

The unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (""The Royal Baths"" used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Keo (constructed in late 10th century) and Ta Prohm, one of the area's most beautiful temples will amaze you in the afternoon.
Stay for another night in Seam Reap.

When you have arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will meet up with our team and transit to your hotel for checking in. Next, you will be on a Phnom Penh city tour to explore its famous attractions such as the National Museum and the Victory Museum. The tour will also include a visit to the Royal Palace - the residence of Cambodian royal families since the 1860s and the Silver Pagoda inside it. The last destination is Wat Phnom Temple, where you could have an exquisite sunset view over the tree-lined boulevards. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Today, after breakfast, you will head to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn about the heartbreaking history of Cambodia. It was originally a school but then taken over by the Khmer Rouge regime during the 1970s. This place became a prison where thousands of Cambodian people were tortured and executed. Next, you will have a free & easy time to wander around a Russian market and pay a visit to Choeung Ek Killing Fields. Stroll along the Mekong River and embark a 1-hour Mekong Sunset Cruise before coming back to your hotel in Phnom Penh.

After arrival at Vientiane Airport, you will meet up with your guide and transit to your hotel. Vientiane holds a different vibe from other capital cities. It appears to be much more tranquil and peaceful with large boulevards and rare traffic jams.
Today, you will travel to the famous Buddhist temples, namely Wat Sisaket, Wat Simuang, and Wat Prakeo. The trip also includes stops at the golden-covered That Luang Monument - a Laos’ national landmark and Patuxai (Victory Gate) resembling France’s worldwide famous Arc de Triomphe. The tour ends with a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant before your free time to unwind and an overnight stay in your hotel in Vientiane.
 

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure to Pakse in the south of Laos. On arrival at Pakse Airport, you will be met and transferred to Tadlo, passing many charming villages and rolling hills. The deep contrast between the lush, green vegetation and the red surface of the basaltic soil is an incredible thing to see as you pass along. You will then stop at tea and coffee plantations, followed by a stop at Tad Fan Waterfall, a picturesque twin chute waterfall.

You will explore another interesting minority village, Ban Bong Neua, an Alak village boasting a sacrificial altar. You will then arrive at the beautiful Tadlo Waterfall in the afternoon, where you will have the rest of the day at for a stroll around, a swim on the river, or to watch the elephants bathe and enjoy the sunset over your Lao beer. Also, there is the option of a short elephant ride to take in the beautiful scenery.

You will stay overnight at Tadlo Lodge.

After breakfast, you are free at leisure until transfer straight to Pakse Airport for your departure flight to the next destinations.
