Tour Plan

Day 1: Vientiane

After arrival at Vientiane Airport, you will meet up with your guide and transit to your hotel. Vientiane holds a different vibe from other capital cities. It appears to be much more tranquil and peaceful with large boulevards and rare traffic jams.
Today, you will travel to the famous Buddhist temples, namely Wat Sisaket, Wat Simuang, and Wat Prakeo. The trip also includes stops at the golden-covered That Luang Monument - a Laos’ national landmark and Patuxai (Victory Gate) resembling France’s worldwide famous Arc de Triomphe. The tour ends with a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant before your free time to unwind and an overnight stay in your hotel in Vientiane.
 

On arrival at Pakse Airport, you will be met and transferred to Tadlo, passing many charming villages and rolling hills. The deep contrast between the lush, green vegetation and the red surface of the basaltic soil is an incredible thing to see as you pass along. You then stop at tea and coffee plantations, followed by a stop at Tad Fan Waterfall, a picturesque twin chute waterfall. You explore another interesting minority village, Ban Bong Neua, an Alak village boasting a sacrificial altar. You arrive at the beautiful Tadlo Waterfall in the afternoon, where you have the rest of the day at leisure for the stroll around, swim on the river, watch the elephant bath and enjoy the sunset over your Lao beer. Also, the option of a short elephant ride to take in the beautiful scenery. Overnight at Tadlo Lodge.

The scenic drive delivers you to the former royal capital of Champasak, a gateway to the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Phu. The hillside edifice was once an important sanctuary of the Khmer Empire. The temple structure was partly destroyed during the areas turbulent history, yet it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. You will follow the walkway from the lower to the upper section, which features various iconic forms, including Vishnu, Shiva, and Kala. The temple upper ground also affords a spectacular view of the surrounding valley and the mighty Mekong River. You will then visit Wat Phou Museum and Oum Moung Temple. Then drive to the 4000 Islands and 30 minutes by boat from the central market to Done Khone Island, you reach the picturesque island of Don Khone by afternoon just enough to watch the sunset over the Mekong River.

When you have arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will meet up with our team and transit to your hotel for checking in. Next, you will be on a Phnom Penh city tour to explore its famous attractions such as the National Museum and the Victory Museum. The tour will also include a visit to the Royal Palace - the residence of Cambodian royal families since the 1860s and the Silver Pagoda inside it. The last destination is Wat Phnom Temple, where you could have an exquisite sunset view over the tree-lined boulevards. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

8:00 pick up at your hotel for a private transfer to Kep. On the way to Kampot Province, you will visit sights such as Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau temples, Phnom Chisor, Angkor Borei, and Phnom Da. You will stay at the beachfront Knai Bang Chatt Resort where you can relax, unwind, recharge and rejuvenate. (Villa 12 is recommended)

You will enjoy a half day excursion to the Kep National Park which was established in 1993 and covers 28 square kilometers of lush forest and hills. The 8 kilometers of mountain trail through the National Park is definitely good for nature lovers. Do not expect to see many animals as they do not want to seen by humans, but the plantations such as cashew, jackfruit, papaya, mango, dragon fruit are beautiful. There are benches along the trail and at the viewing points to relax for a while and enjoy the sounds and smell of nature. This 2.5-hour trek is an easy nature walk for everybody and you will discover this natural oasis before it gets more developed. You will drive back to your resort for the rest of afternoon and be free to visit the swimming pool and beach or go sailing if you desire. A cooking class can also be arranged for an additional charge

On your way to Sihanoukville, you will spend some time at imposing Bokor Mountain. Bokor Hill Station was a French colonial village. The remains of the old church and police station can still be seen today. You will drive to Sihanoukville for a restful night on the Sokha Beach Resort and discover Khmer hospitality with world-class service. You can explore the private, pristine, white sand beach, which stretches out over 1.5 kilometers. You will enjoy sunset cocktails at the Deck Bar and dine in style at Lemon Grass to complete a beautiful day.

Today you will have a day tour to Ream National Park. The park is home to a number of rare birds and animals. You will take a boat ride and walk for one hour in the park. Be prepared for monkeys, mouse deer, and pangolin! You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the remote beach and you can swim here before driving back to Sihanoukville.

 

You will have a totally free day to relax on the beach, swim in the clear waters and enjoy the peace of the area. Sihanoukville, also known as Kampong Som, is a province of Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand. This port city is a growing Cambodian urban center, located 185 kilometers (115 miles) southwest of the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Surrounded by white sand beaches and undeveloped tropical islands, Sihanoukville is the epicenter of beach life in Cambodia.

 

Our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel right after your upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. Then you will have dinner at a local reataurant.
A night in Ho Chi Minh city is ideal.

Our guide will take you to visit some of Ho Chi Minh city's most popular attractions.

  •  You can admire French colonial architecture examples like Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral or the Old Post Office and discover Vietnam’s turbulent at the Museum.
  •  The first stop is the Reunification Palace, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. It is also the end of the American War in Vietnam on April 30th 1975.
  •  Then, it will be Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral since 1880, and the Old Post Office since between 1886 and 1891.
  •  The last stop is a local market for you to make your bargaining skills while shopping for souvenirs for friends or family. It is also a great time to get closer to Vietnamese local life and culture.

 You will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
 You will enjoy your free time for the rest of the day by wandering on Ho Chi Minh city street or drinking in some bars and pubs.

When arriving at Danang, our guide will welcome and start your itinerary with Danang City tour around Cham Museum to get closer about this ancient but advanced civilization.

After that, we will be taken to Marble Mountains at which you can climb to the top and admire the temples with a commanding view of the surrounding districts and visit some traditional handicraft villages.

After breakfast, you will go to Hoian. It takes about 30 minute drive to Hoian ancient town.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, you will pay a visit to a local school before checking in your hotel. The rest time in the day will be at your leisure. You are free to explore the ancient town or just relax in your hotel. You will stay overnight in Hoi An.

On the second day, you will take a tour around Hoi An Ancient Town to visit its top tourist attractions. Hoi An is home to important historical and cultural sites that represent different cultures. You can feel the influences of other cultures via its landmarks such as the Assembly Halls of Chinese communities and the Japanese Covered Bridge of Fusang culture. The blend of these cultures in Hoi An is also well demonstrated in the architectural style of Tan Ky House - another stop for today’s tour. After the tour, you will enjoy your free time before the second overnight stay here.

When you have arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, your tour guide will warmly greet you and then take you on a private car to transfer to your hotel. You will then have a free and easy afternoon before having dinner at a local Vietnamese restaurant. The first evening in Hanoi will be dedicated to the Water Puppet Show – a renowned traditional art form of northern Vietnamese farmers. The show will last for 1 hour. Overnight in Hanoi.
 

 Hanoi is the aesthetic capital of Vietnam. You will take a tour to the famous attractions of the city, namely the Ho Chi Minh Complex (the Mausoleum, Stilt house, museum, etc.), the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, and Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. Besides, it is a should to ride a cyclo or have a walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and the nearby Old Quarter - the home to hundreds of stores that sell different Vietnamese specialties such as silk, brocade, bamboo, etc. You can purchase the quintessential artworks at the galleries, also. You will then enjoy a slap-up dinner at a superb restaurant before heading to Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre for a 1-hour puppet show.

There is no activity planned for today so you are free to enjoy your free time souvenir shopping until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
