Tour Plan

DAY 1: DIEN BIEN PHU – LAI CHAU – A DELIGHTFUL ESCAPE FROM CITY

After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the Dien Bien Phu Museum. Situated at the actual site of the decisive battle between the French colonialists and the Viet Minh, this museum offers a good orientation of the battlefield, and houses a collection of photos, uniforms and weapons used during the war.

Continue our wonderful journey to Lai Chau. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Lai Chau.

DAY 2: SIN SUOI HO – HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF LAICHAU

Upon arriving in Sin Suoi Ho, you’ll immediately be captivated by the distinctive H’Mong wooden houses and traditional trinh tuong earthen homes. One of their most remarkable features is the low stone fences—carefully hand-stacked and only waist-high—that encircle each house, adding both charm and character to the village.

In this mountainous haven, you’ll have the chance to admire vibrant orchid gardens and immerse yourself in the cultural life of the H’Mong people through their folk games and lively weekly market, held every Saturday morning. Along the road leading into the village, thousands of Cymbidium orchid pots line both sides, creating a truly enchanting welcome.

Continue trekking to the breathtaking “Love Waterfall” and Heart Waterfall, both tucked deep within the old-growth forest of Sin Suoi Ho. Surrounded entirely by towering rocky cliffs, these waterfalls offer a pristine natural escape.

After the visit, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Lai Chau.

DAy 3: THE RURAL LIFE IN SI THAU CHAI VILLAGE - SAPA

Departure downhill to the valley of Tam Duong, Binh Lu to an ethnic market which only takes place once every week to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature and local ethnic minorities' people cultures. Witness how ethnic people enjoy their lives and dress up in their traditional costumes. Besides normal goods traded in any other market; each mountainous market has its own typical products for sale. (Bình Lu Tam Duong Market on Thursday & Sunday). Then, transfer to Si Thau Chai Village and Tac Tinh Waterfall, where the serene atmosphere instantly brings a sense of comfort and lightness. This is the perfect place to seek peace—far removed from the fatigue and noise of the city—while discovering unique local customs and cultural traditions.

Si Thau Chai Village lies halfway up the Pu Ta Leng Mountain range, about 6 km from Tam Duong Town in Tam Duong District, Lai Châu Province. Blessed with beautiful natural surroundings, the village is framed by gently sloping, expansive terraced fields stretching from the mountainsides down to the valley—a distinctive architectural and agricultural hallmark of the Dao ethnic community. Here, you can observe and learn how local families construct their traditional houses. Continue to Tac Tinh Waterfall, a picturesque site deeply connected to the legend of a local couple’s love story, adding a touch of romance and mystery to the natural beauty. Then, move to the O Quy Ho Mountain Pass along the Hoang Lien Son Mountain range with several stops for photos of stunning Mount Fansipan and Sin Chai Valley before transfer to Sapa.
