MALAYSIA VISA EXEMPTION
1.1. Who is eligible for Malaysia visa exemption?
As of 2025, Malaysia implements a visa exemption policy for 150 countries
- Free visa for 90 days: Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, San Marino, Senegal, Slovakia, Slovenia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Türkiye, Vatican City, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Venezuela.
- Free visa for 30 days: Argentina, Belarus, Brunei, Cambodia, Chile, Eswatini, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Micronesia, Mongolia, Singapore, South Africa, Suriname, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and Vietnam
- Free visa for 15 days: Iran
1.2. Qualifications and Requirements
- Holding a valid passport or a valid travel document with a validity of more than 6 months
- Obtain a valid Visa (for nationals that require a visa to enter Malaysia)
- Having sufficient financial provisions to sustain the period of stay in Malaysia
- Have a valid return ticket and sufficient expenses
- Not an illegal immigrant
- Filling in the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card(MDAC) / (IM.26) upon arrival at any gate of entry gazetted at the URL https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main

1.3. Malaysia visa fee
- The Malaysia visa fee, both for a Single Entry or Multiple Entry Visa and a Transit Visa, is RM 20 (Malaysian Ringgit) for all countries.
MALAYSIA VISA ON ARRIVAL
2.1. Who is eligible for a Malaysia visa on arrival
- Visa on Arrival facility is available for citizens of the PRC and India.
2.2. Qualifications and Requirements
- Visitors arriving in Malaysia via Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, or Brunei (with a valid visa from either country)
- Visitors coming in from either four countries through the entrance as follows:
- Air Route:
- Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
- Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)
- Bayan Lepas International Airport, Pulau Pinang
- Sultan Ismail, Senai Airport, Johor
- Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah
- Kuching International Airport, Sarawak
- Langkawi International Airport, Kedah
- Miri Airport, Sarawak
- Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Selangor
- Land Route:
- Tuas (Singapore)- Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (Second Link)(Malaysia)
- Immigration Control Post, Sungai Tujoh, Sarawak
- Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security Complex (ICQS) Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah
- Sea Route:
- Immigration Control Post, Labuan International Terminal Ferry ONLY
2.3. Visa on arrival fees
- VOA fees are RM200.00 and visitors must show that they have at least USD500 cash (or equivalent in Ringgit Malaysia) and a confirmed return ticket.
MALAYSIA E-VISA
3.1. Who is eligible for a Malaysian E-visa
- E-visas can be applied around the world except in Malaysia, Israel, and North Korea.

3.2. Required documents
- Passport-sized studio photo.
- Passport biodata page with passport validity of more than six (6) months from the travel date to Malaysia.
- Confirmed return flight booking.
- Birth certificate for minor applicants.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Other supporting documents.

- Malaysia E-visa fees are USD 90 (Multiple /Single Entry Visa)
