PHILIPPINES VISA EXEMPTION

1.1. Who is eligible for Philippines visa exemption?

The Philippines grants visa-free entry to travelers from 157 countries for tourism, business, or transit purposes, with varying durations of stay.

1.2. Entry requirements 

  • Valid return ticket or ticket to onward destination (not later than the maximum period of stay allowed) (except for Balikbayan and their qualified dependents)
  • Passport valid for at least six months from the time of arrival in the Philippines and ETravel registration

2.1. Who is eligible for a Philippines visa on arrival?

Nationals from certain countries can apply for VOA when they arrive in the Philippines. It typically applies to those who are not eligible for visa-free entry: India, China (Mainland), Russia, Taiwan, Ukraine

2.2. Entry requirements

  • Valid Passport for at least six months beyond the intended stay.
  • Return or onward ticket
  • Duration: Usually, the VOA is granted for an initial stay of 59 days, which can be extended at the Bureau of Immigration.
