Tour Plan

Day 1: Hanoi

Arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. Our guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel to do the check-in. The afternoon will be at your leisure. When the sun has set, a slap-up dinner will take place at a local restaurant to welcome you. In the evening, you will come to the theatre to watch the Water Puppet Show – a folk Vietnamese art performance with a history dating back to the 11th century. After the show, you will come back to the hotel for the first overnight stay in Hanoi.
 

Hanoi is a historically and culturally rich city with a harmonizing blend of Asian and Western cultures. That integration is well demonstrated via the inordinate number of ancient temples and pagodas nestling quietly next to French-style buildings. A full day city tour will allow you to visit the outstanding attractions in Hanoi, including the complex of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake. The tour will also take you to the ancient temples and pagodas, namely the One Pillar Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple, and Quan Thanh Temple. A museum, either the Ethnology Museum or the History Museum, will also be included in the tour itinerary. Before being back to the hotel for an overnight stay, visitors will wander around the Old Quarter, where you can feel the nostalgia of the city as well as sample Cha Ca La Vong (braised fish) - the unique delicacy of Hanoians.
 

After breakfast, you will depart Hanoi for Hoa Binh Province and the town of Mai Chau. This scenic drive takes around three hours. Along the way, you will pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane, as well as rice paddies. After lunch in a traditional stilt house of the Thai people, you will drive for one hour to Sa Linh Village to begin your trekking. The verdant and rugged mountain scenery, combined with the colorful local population, makes this an unforgettable experience. Today, you will walk along gravel tracks and small paths used by the locals. Your destination for this evening is Hang Kia Village, home of the H'mong minority people. Here, you will stay overnight as the guests of an H'mong family in a traditional long house, situated in a picturesque valley of peach orchards.

Today you will take a drive West toward Mai Chau with one stop in Hoa Binh City for refreshments and coffee. You will continue driving toward Mai Chau Valley, about another 1.5 hours away, stopping on the way to take in the spectacular scenery. You will start cycling from Tong Dau to Lac Village in the Thai Minority region (10km). Following lunch, you will begin a ride of 15 km through Pong Cong, Van Mai, Xo and Xam Khoe villages in this beautiful valley, going from one village to another and having a chance to get in touch with local villagers going about their daily business tilling the fields, logging or herding buffalo. Our driver will meet you at Khoe Village for transfer back to Lac Village for dinner and an overnight stay.

The driver will meet you at Lac Village for transfer to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

You enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by road via a breathtaking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting.

PM: You will be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from the river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.

Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you have a short rest to gear up for the bamboo river rafting with Dinh and his team. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, in between learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.

Arriving at scenic Tan Lap bridge, you disembark to be transferred back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

AM: Start early to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still! Continuing to the base of the valley, you weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savor the ever-changing scenery as you trek to a beautiful spot to enjoy a simple picnic lunch.

PM: After enjoying delicious food, you have free time to explore the refreshing water to the nearby river, before moving to our pick up point to be transferred back to the Retreat. Overnight in Pu Luong Retreat

After breakfast at Pu Luong Retreat, you will leave Pu Luong for Hanoi

Today you will be free at leisure to discover Hanoi's Old Quater and go shopping around for some special souvenirs from Vietnam. You can go around and egg-coffee - the most famous drink in Vietnam. 

In the morning, you will be free till the transfer to the airport to fly to Hue. Upon arrival at Phu Bai Airport, our guide will welcome and transfer you directly to the hotel. The Hue City tour in the afternoon after free lunch time will take you to visit some of the most famous Hue landmarks including Hue Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba market in which you can explore the cake heaven of Hue. In the evening, you will enjoy Hue unique cuisine at Tinh Gia Vien restaurant, and then stay overnight in Hue.

Located along the banks of the Huong River, Hue, the regional economic, cultural, touristic, scientific, specialized health, education and training hub of central Viet Nam is an attractive destination with ancient spots covered by a layer of green moss creating a relaxing sensation. Don't miss Hue Citadel, a World Cultural Heritage site recognized the by UNESCO in 1993.

This morning, you will leave Hue - the Heritage City to travel to Hoi An Ancient Town. On the way, the car will pass through the winding Hai Van Pass, from which you could take a panoramic view of the pristine coastline and blue ocean. Upon arrival in Hoi An, you will pay a visit to a local school before checking in your hotel. The rest time in the day will be at your leisure. You are free to explore the ancient town or just relax in your hotel. You will stay overnight in Hoi An.

On the second day, you will take a tour around Hoi An Ancient Town to visit its top tourist attractions. Hoi An is home to important historical and cultural sites that represent different cultures. You can feel the influences of other cultures via its landmarks such as the Assembly Halls of Chinese communities and the Japanese Covered Bridge of Fusang culture. The blend of these cultures in Hoi An is also well demonstrated in the architectural style of Tan Ky House - another stop for today’s tour. After the tour, you will enjoy your free time before the second overnight stay here.


Da Nang is truly blessed with outstanding nature. Apart from My Khe Beach, you should spend some time during your trip to travel to other attractions, such as Son Tra Peninsula, Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort, The Ngu Hanh Son Mount or Hoi An. The tour will allow you to discover uniqueness in every place you come to. So when being in this Danang tailor-made tour, visitors can not admire the beauty of My Khe Beach, but other breathtaking places as well. Upon arrival in Danang International airport, our guide will welcome and transfer you to the hotel in Danang. You will be free to enjoy some of these places above, don't worry - they are all in the city center. Stay overnight in Danang.

Our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel right after your upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City.

Then you will have dinner at a local reataurant.

Free at leisure til you transfer to Ho Chi Minh

When you have arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will meet up with our team and transit to your hotel for checking in. Next, you will be on a Phnom Penh city tour to explore its famous attractions such as the National Museum and the Victory Museum. The tour will also include a visit to the Royal Palace - the residence of Cambodian royal families since the 1860s and the Silver Pagoda inside it. The last destination is Wat Phnom Temple, where you could have an exquisite sunset view over the tree-lined boulevards. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Today, after breakfast, you will head to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn about the heartbreaking history of Cambodia. It was originally a school but then taken over by the Khmer Rouge regime during the 1970s. This place became a prison where thousands of Cambodian people were tortured and executed. Next, you will have a free & easy time to wander around a Russian market and pay a visit to Choeung Ek Killing Fields. Stroll along the Mekong River and embark a 1-hour Mekong Sunset Cruise before coming back to your hotel in Phnom Penh.

Free at leisure until you transfer to Kampong Cham

You will then take a trip to Kompong Cham by private van. Kompong Cham has plenty of interesting sights, some of which are old colonial buildings, as well as sites such as Nokor Bachey. Nokor Bachey Temple was built in the middle of the 11th Century, during the reign of Suryayarman II and King Ouphey. This old colonial town is rich with agricultural products like rubber trees, cashews, maize, beans and more. You will spend the night in Kompong Cham.

Our guide will met you at Siem Reap Airport and transfer to your hotel. You can enjoy your own free time to explore Siem Reap 
Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Today is time for Banteay Srei Temple, the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art since the 10th century.

After that you will visit Tonle Sap Lake . Tonle Sap Lake is the largest lake with permanent fresh water in the whole Southeast Asia area. Flowing to the Tonle Sap River to join the long and huge Mekong in Phnom Penh, this beautiful lake is an ideal place for anyone fond of Asian culture or just love to relax and chill out next to a lovely, cool place of a lake. 

Stay overnight in Seam Reap.

You will be met at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and transfer to the hotel by private air conditioned vehicle with your English speaking guide. After check in, the rest of the day is free on your own.

You will start out with a visit to the Grand Palace and the "Emerald Buddha Temple", Wat Phra Kaeo . Before entering the main gate to the temple of the Emerald Buddha , you can stop by the Royal Regalia Museum to see the beauty of its decorative jewelry, which used to be the ornaments of royal officers and consorts. You'll continue exploring Wat Pho the "Reclining Buddha Temple," the oldest and biggest temple, with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all).

In the afternoon, you will take a long-tailed boat along the Chao Phraya River to see Thai life. You will pass the Grand Palace and pay a brief visit to the Royal Barge Museum, which houses ceremonial King's Barges decorated with multi-colored glass, gilt and stucco. You will disembark at Wat Arun the "Temple of Dawn", to visit the tallest prang in Thailand.

You will have free until time transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

This afternoon, you will drive to visit Chiang Mai's famous temples: Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Suan Dok, which has the North's largest chapel royal. The evening is free and you will stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

In the morning, you will go on an exciting excursion to Mae Sai a border of Thailand and Burma for a visit to Tha Chilek. After finishing formalities, you'll cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek, where you can witness local Burmese life in a nearby village. You can take a tricycle ride to explore Tha Chilek with its Shan-style temple and then ride around the town through lanes and side streets, ending at the local market, famous for products from Southern China, Laos and Burma.

Afterwards, you will continue to visit the world famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet . You will have lunch at a local restaurant and the visit the Hall of Opium, an insightful museum focusing on the history of the Golden Triangle and the opium trade. This multi-million dollar museum in the sleepy village of Baan Sop Ruak provides an in-depth look at the history of the area's association with opium

There are no activities planned for today so you are free until transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for your departure to Bangkok or next destination.
