Today will be your chance to venture into rural Thailand as you will take a houseboat to travel away from the bustle and hustle of Bangkok. The cityscape gives way to rolling countryside. Ayutthaya attracts people with palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues, all of which are ready to be explored but only after you meet the monks of Wat Bang Na for a blessing to future journeys.

Relive ancient history with your guide, and then spend the night back on board, the boat moored beside another temple, Wat Niwet Thammaprawat. Dinner is a regal affair, including many of the dishes from Ayutthaya’s time.
