Bangkok seamlessly has a combination of the old and the new. Wandering around the city, you can easily see the giant Buddha images awaiting in the ancient temple, Khmer-style temples with the steep steps, as well as the sculpted jade and gold illustrating the riches of the past.
On your second day in Bangkok, you will visit most of the highlights here including the opulent Grand Palace, sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple, the Buddhist temple complex Wat Pho, and the stunning War Arun Temple which derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun.
Then on the third day, you will discover the modern side to Bangkok such as the luxury malls, iconic building, and vibrant streets that Bangkok is becoming famous for. There are so many things for you to do: enjoying lunch on the 20th floor with stunning views over everything, exploring a colonial era at the Jim Thompson House. When night falls, this city really goes alive and offers you so much fun. Let's stroll around the Chinatown, visit one of the night markets and buy some fascinating souvenirs, or join a tour through the bustle of Old Bangkok at dusk.
Please note that, over these two days, you will have a private tour guide and a flexible itinerary. There are some other options for you such as glide down the Chap Phraya River, take a city tour on a tuk-tuk, visit a floating market, or visit Ayutthaya on a day trip.
